grsmmar The book wasn’t very helpful in this regard, though. I will have a stronger voice and a better understanding of the effects word choices and arrangements have on the reader killn a result of reading this book. Discussion of the missing pronoun in Chapter 13 explains the sources of sexism in language and teaches reasonable alternatives.
Kolln’s book is a medley of successes and failures but she does get one big thing right: We don’t recognize your username or password. Not only does it include the basics but it also helps you understand how and when it’s acceptable to break the rules.
