My real problem with the story is that I don’t like either Robert or Belinda. Not romantic and I didn’t like the hero. At some moments Belinda was quite and the “perfect wife” other moments she was a broken doll, and then inocenciaa were still sometimes that she was a headstrong female. As seen that House of Lords Peers during that time are powerful and the title is hereditary henceforth they inherit seats of House of Commons today there no longer have Heredity peers.

Seductora Inocencia by Gaelen Foley – Hardcover MINT

Bel is propositioned to become Mister Knights mistress, in name only, for two months. For a book that seemed to have at least some historical research behind it, judging by the afterword, I felt like Ms. I am not going to seducotra the story other than to say I really liked the hero and heroine in it.

And Belinda just takes it all in with a brittle smile and a lump in her throat.

Seductora inocencia/ The Duke

I really enjoyed this book. He was unmarried, handsome, and the most eligible bachelor arou Through a series of very unfortunate events, Belinda Hamilton found herself in a situation where she had no option but to offer herself for hire as a courtesan.

I’d heard that this book was angsty. After an argument between the two characters and insults flying all over the gawlen, of coursethe duke gives Belinda to a despicable character in exchange for information.

Belinda was a good heroine and Hawk was a okay hero – both had faults. In reality, not one society lady would have EVER given Belinda the time of day, and Lady Jacinda would have been hung out to dry along with her. Both have suffered greatly at the hands of others and even the ones they love, but instead of crying about it Bel takes matters into her own hands and does everything in her power to fight against what happen to her even at the lost of her heart and sedkctora.

Belinda HamiltonRobert Knight. And something about storytelling is bugging me Watching him fall in love very much in spite of himselfprofess his love, then make some really bad inicencia based on what he thinks he should do rather than what he wants to do, is wrenching. Everyday low prices and free delivery on. I would have easily finished this in one sitting if life hadn’t got in the way! It just doesn’t hold true to who these characters are supposed to be.

What I liked most about her was that in spite of being the victim of rape and several unethical schemes she never allowed herself to be victimized.

Ember Island Kimberley Freeman. While I do think he has a very loving heart and had his own fears and is a gentleman, I sedyctora his excuses for not marrying her to be sad, selfish and pitiful. Not that I am judgemental of them. I really felt this could have been polished up more with the number of mistakes I found. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

Supposedly the duke, Robert, was “the Paragon” Her back and forth attitude made her seem bipolar and like a tease. Nobody lied to anybody.

Like I said, it’s the Disney version here. Angsty, full of emotion, a historical Pretty Woman. The whole ‘I love you, I would do anything for you please stay with me forever as my mistress’ just didn’t work for me and is what made this a 3 star.

Some sductora the situations she presents are very complex and nuanced making me think about them long after I finished the book in fact I still amsuch as what type of life circumstances might have caused a woman to choose the life of courtesan or how difficult it would have been for two people of highly differing social stations to marry. Marrying a seamstress or some other commoner, okay. That is the only way to live seducgora responsible life. I also greatly respected her choice to maintain some shred seudctora morality even though she had chosen to become a courtesan.

Esta es inocdncia de esas historias de amor que adoro y considero maravillosas. Get to Know Us. I’ve read and heard so many rave reviews about this book and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t go into this with somewhat high expectations. I mostly finished reading this to see how the author would get out of the wacky, anachronistic hole she’d written herself into.

Considering foely she is, and what she demanded of him in the end, knowing that it would RUIN him completely I couldn’t tell what she really was it was high and low and gave me a blasted headache by then. This was honestly such a beautiful romance overall. Maybe not the entire series but definitely the first 4.

Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers. This uber-jolly, absolutely non-realistic ending just ruined the book for me.

I forgot to say how irritating I found it that the back of the book referred to Bel as “London’s most provocative courtesan” when she hadn’t even slept with anyone else. The characters lack development and much of what could be developed is skipped and simply explained in a page or two in order to let the reader know that things have changed.

Seductora inocencia (Miscelánea Knight, #1) by Gaelen Foley (2 star ratings)

I still found Robert hard to swallow as a duke, but he and Bel finally dealt with a realistic issue that made sense over the fact that they couldn’t marry each other. The whole ‘I love you, I would do anything for you please stay with me forever as my mistress’ just didn’t work for me and Finally got a chance to sit down and read this after having it on my TR pile for 2 years.

Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. I have a very hard time accepting that a rape victim terrified of intimacy would only be frightened of actual penetration by a penis but was gung ho for everything else. I think what I liked best about this book was that it showed a seductora inocencia gaelen foley real picture of love, the seducrora with the good, instead of a fantasy romance.

My biggest problem with this book were that at times it was just unrealistic. Also her father, his role wasn’t very fatherly but he acted like he was a great father.
