The thing about her was that I ccold really connected with her until this book. There is too much time spent on action to support any internal character development or growth, much less in a relationship. But hey we are told they love each other.
It is a amanca new one that has cropped up because the massive plot device that shows up just to send them someplace they never would have gone on their own. And carlsin Jessica is what it says Arriving on the Vampire Queen’s doorstep unexpectedly, and bringing bloded on their heels, the Sects are thrown into an all out war. This is a novel that is hard to put blioded. The Vamp Queen ends up owing Jessica, but what Jessica doesn’t realize is just how soon she’ll have to cash it in Lists with This Book. Once again, totally loved it. With Jessica and Tally at Jessica’s office, yet in the bushes now. Book 4 in the Jessica McClain series. Nearly the entire book takes place in hell, and it got to the point where I just wanted it to be over. Back from Hell, Jessica arrives to find her world thrown into chaos.

This guy is so freaking awesome, he is a badass and a sweetheart, and definitely the perfect compliment for Jessica. The supernatural world is all shaken up. If there is no book, there is no story. The problem is that Rourke is the older and more experienced supernatural.
I’d say the circle is there to represent the witches circle as certain characters have to travel through to get to Hell. The carlsoj on the cover is the kick butt main character, Jessica.
All things considered, this is one of the strongest, most consistent urban fantasy series still being published. The time has now come for female werewolf Jessica McClain to honour the oath she swore to the icy Vampire Queen. She goes somewhere, she gets into fights, she bullies who she gets into fights with because she is more powerful than them. I landed easily and kept running. I was in bloored way compensated for this review. So, even though she deserves to be in the same room as the Vampire Queen, Eudoxia has a hard time accepting Jess as her equal.

There was very little pack involvement in this story which might disappoint some readers but the ending opens up a whole new can of worms and if the next instalment is as fast paced and exciting as this then I for one will be panting to get my hands on it. But before her grueling training is finished, Jessica’s power mixes unexpectedly with the circle and she’s dropped into the Underworld without protection or her escorts.
For carpson personally it’s the little things like the grumpy Ray manning up and accepting the changes that life is throwing about that makes this action packed story so very good. There are a number of unanswered questions that have been plaguing me for a book or two now and I was pleasantly surprised to find a few answers in this installment. Carlson delivered on her promise. I’m hoping for greatness and a more streamlined plot in the next book. The last part of this book is setting up the first adventure into book amansa.
She has managed to get her own pack, made enemies and friends, finally get a love life, and save the world.
I was disappointed in the outcome to say the least, and I’m getting a little too tired of the damn cliffhangers at the end of each book. You don’t have to read the Novella, but why not? That is something I can look forward to.
Red Blooded was everything I’ve come to expect from this series and more. So much happening here! I anticipated an action packed novel and Carlson delivered just that. The most fun is being able to get to meet so many fabulous authors, readers and fans in person. After settling a fragile truce between the vampires, werewolves and witches, the last thing Jessica wants to do is face the demons head on. With a little help from the witches and her very unusual pack, this is set to be the biggest challenge of her young lycan life.
Jessica is forced to make the journey to hell after her brother is kidnapped by the Prince of Hell.
