Rethinking Homework is just that – a research based, analytical look at the effectiveness of homework, and solutions for working with parents and students on reasonable homework policies and procedures that will both encourage and improve students success.

Reviews why homework has been given through the ages, and if it really is all that effective not before 5th grade, and only nominally in 5th. I have been teaching high school for 20 years without really examining in depth why I treat homework the way I vtterott in terms of what I assign, how much I assign, and how I incorporate homework into grades.
