Great company but not doing well with this economy. I’m able to motivate people, help them to continually adjust their goals based on changing wants and needs. I wanted something with benefits and advancement. I work approximately 60 – 70 hours per week from a remote location, traveling across 21 counties on a daily basis, using a section plan to help ensure I can see as many top sellers, leaders, and new independent consultants on a regular basis.

The products were good. I send my order in an electronic program and they process the orders. Great working with Customers. Motivation skills and high energy are a must. Family life suffers unless you have a good team of associates.
Sometime was very busy other times very slow I love to work i was my on boss The meeting Was Very Fun. Even though it wasn’t the best fit for me I still love buying Avon.

Opportunity to help people launch their own business in a diverse marketplace. I am in the Honor Society for several years. I zvon doing this but it was not a good compensation. Expect to work long hours and be on the road traveling a lot. I handled the ordering of products for customers and returning money to the company.

Ratings by category Clear. I needed to make extra money so I try Avon. I have learned many things about customer needs and how to meet their needs and what products they need.
Coworkers are supportive and helpful, however all are stressed tight, overworked, and concerned about their future in the company. Avon is a company that keeps on “going back to the basics” – meaning they change things, then realize that it doesn’t work, so they go back to the basics.
It worked out for me being a stay at home parent. We also are challenged by negative company service feedback due to products frequently being shorted from orders and frustration with outsourced customer service representatives that do not speak English clearly.
The most enjoyable part of my day is working with a large cultural diversity campaia helping people to learn direct selling skills.
Three years later, I was terminated due to cut backs. The company was trusted I used the products. You can be your own boss. Four days later the order is delivered to my home. District Sales Manager has to be constantly meeting with new reps and old reps.
Our community is ready to answer. After that I type their orders into an Avon Computer program. The hardest part of the job is attempting to make sales goals that continue to rise despite the economy and shrinking pocket books on the part of buyers. The more value your sales come out to be, the more percentage you get from it. You have to work your schedule around all of your reps plus upper management.

I enjoyed working with customers on a flexible schedule to keep customers happy. It’s more like a side job where you can make some money. Every two weeks I call my customers for their orders. I started out in Quality Assurance on 2nd shift. Creates independence and self reliance for women. Making you’re own hours selling stuff at your own time was just awesome!
You can also lose money, Results vary based on team. Very fun To Work. I am a loyal fan of their skincare products. I love that I can help people with fundraiser for whatever event they are in need of. Get home and put in the order and just wait a couple of days for product to arrive and take them to the clients. Relationship building is the key. I enjoyed doing this because I was my own boss.
It is way too much work when you have a full plate already but its enjoyable making the money and meeting new people. Avon used to be a great company to work for, then they got greedy, not caring about their employees or their representatives, just wanting the bottom line to grow.
